Hello, welcome! I’m Lisa, a Boston-based product designer, with a background in experience design (UX), interface design (UI), visual/graphic design (VD) and brand. I've designed everything from complicated platform interfaces for Intuit, to retirement transactional-products for TIAA, to award-winning promotional experiences for IKEA, and most recently integrated account experiences for CVS Health.
I design and lead UX work in complex, constrained environments, helping teams make sense of system rules, dependencies, and tradeoffs so they can move forward with clarity.
The vast majority of my work cannot be shown due to NDAs, but I can certainly discuss general details and reference a few areas from production experiences. For that reason this portfolio is here to help illustrate a general sense of my design leadership principles and communication style.. Please reach out if you’re interested in seeing more. I’m always thrilled to chat design!
For years our product marketing and UX teams tried to figure out how to simplify the QuickBase onboarding process. Somehow along the way, simple turned into promoting it as easy. It’s not easy. Not even a little bit. And, why does it have to be? The beauty is that it’s complex. However, complex does not have to mean frustrating. This approach recognizes the benefit of complex, and breaks down the product into comprehensive building bocks, merging good education practices with a gamification model complete with milestones and rewards.
